I\u2019ve been steadily, little by little, increasing the number of colors.
There are now 22 in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When arranged together, they bring a sense of excitement\u2014like opening a box of art materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I\u2019ve come to notice through working with them is this: when I pour the wax into a vessel, attuning myself to the season and listening inward, my mind becomes quiet, almost empty. And then, when I light the flame, something begins to arise again\u2014something to reflect on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It feels akin to preparing tea, or arranging flowers\u2014quiet, yet deeply rich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, it can be unfamiliar to handle, but with each layer, you gradually begin to understand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even so, no matter how it turns out, there is a certain strength and warmth in the light that makes it feel worthwhile the moment it is lit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps, listening to what the light has to say is, in the end, simply an experience of returning to oneself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
